How it works

  • The guidelines and instructions about the initiative are sent to lecturers in partnership. In association with the Table of Daanadell Talents (Daanadell), this program is aimed at working with students whose academic field of study is geography and English literature. Lecturers are welcome to send inquiries to mhdarabi@peertalon.com to receive the aims and scopes of the initiative, including information about how students can be encouraged to take part. The information is sent to lecturers and supervisors only. This is to narrow down the volume of correspondence selectively by seeking authentic, academic inquiries and contributions.

  • Authenticity is the first and foremost issue that can be stressed on in the world of art and writing. Conditions are best when we can reassure that any artwork or piece of writing sent to us electronically is in fact an original work created by a student. For this reason, we rely on the “lecturer filter” which means that we respond exclusively to emails sent to us via institutional email addresses that are affiliated with universities. This is based on the truism that lecturers at universities are reliable correspondents whose academic profession, naturally, carries authenticity. This policy is aimed at safeguarding the environment against plagiarism, scam and impostors, or people who would occasionally email images of artworks or pieces of writing that they claim are originally theirs, but are sadly not.

  • Information about the program, its aims and scopes are not given here and, instead, they are sent directly to lecturers. To this end, all lecturers are welcome to request the information by writing to mhdarabi@peertalon.com and are asked to use their institutional email address when sending emails; this being a common method of verifying academic identity. We regret that we cannot respond to messages or inquiries that are not sent via institutional email addresses. Meanwhile, this does not close the door on others. Students and all other individuals who are interested in knowing about the program can ask a lecturer at university to visit this page and request the information.
